On October 6, INOX Air Products (INOXAP), a leading Indian industrial and electronic gases producer, announced a major investment plan aimed at supporting India's rapidly growing semiconductor and Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test (OSAT) industry. The company had earlier this year acquired a strategic plot in Dholera, Gujarat, for establishing an electronic specialty gases hub, which is now in advanced stages of planning.

 

This hub will produce and supply Ultra High Purity (UHP) bulk and specialty gases, including nitrogen, oxygen, argon, and hydrogen, which are critical for advanced semiconductor manufacturing. Functioning as both a production facility and a distribution center, the hub will ensure a reliable and contamination-free gas supply to fabs and OSAT units across India.
