The global industrial gas industry recently achieved a significant milestone: Messer has partnered with PetroVietnam to establish a 200,000 ton per year industrial gas plant. On November 11, PVChem, a member company of the PetroVietnam Group, officially signed a joint venture agreement with Germany’s industrial gas giant Messer Group to establish Gai Mei Industrial Gas Co., Ltd. According to the plan, the two parties will build a new industrial gas plant in the Gai Mei Industrial Zone of Ho Chi Minh City, with a total investment of approximately $35 million and an annual production capacity of 200,000 tons. The plant is scheduled to break ground by the end of 2026 and commence operations by the end of 2028. Designed with a green circular economy model, the plant will fully utilize the cold energy from PVGas’s LNG storage tank system to provide deep refrigeration for the gas separation process. The project will incorporate European cryogenic air separation technology and integrate a cold energy recovery process during LNG regasification.
This major collaboration highlights the global industrial gas industry’s trend toward green and high-efficiency development. As industrial gas production capacity continues to expand, the demand for safe, reliable, and efficient gas storage and transportation solutions is also growing. As an advanced representative in the aluminum alloy gas cylinder industry, NETC is providing robust support for the development of the global industrial gas sector with its high-performance industrial aluminum alloy gas cylinders.
NETC’s industrial aluminum alloy gas cylinders are specifically designed for the storage and transportation needs of industrial gases. Manufactured from high-quality AA6061 aluminum alloy, these cylinders offer significant advantages such as lightweight construction, corrosion resistance, and rust prevention, meeting the stringent requirements for long-term storage and complex transportation environments of industrial gases. The cylinders are available in capacities ranging from 1L to 50L, including specialized sizes like 46.4L and 47.5L, with a working pressure of up to 200Bar. They are widely used for packaging and supplying industrial standard gases, high-purity gases, and specialty gases.
Against the backdrop of the green circular economy becoming a core direction for global industrial development, NETC’s aluminum alloy gas cylinders, with their recyclability and long lifecycle, align closely with the sustainable development philosophy of Messer’s Vietnam project. The products strictly comply with international certification standards such as GB11460, ISO 7866, and DOT 3AL, ensuring their global compliance and applicability. This provides reliable support for the entire industrial gas supply chain, from production to end-use.
