On November 27, Indian industrial, electronic, and specialty gases manufacturer INOX Air Products announced it has entered into a long-term cooperation agreement with Indian solar photovoltaic manufacturer ReNew Photovoltaics Private Limited. Under the agreement, INOXAP will provide ultra-high-purity nitrogen supply services for ReNew's new TOPCON solar cell manufacturing plant in Tolela, Ahmedabad, Gujarat. A core component of this strategic partnership involves INOXAP investing in and constructing an advanced air separation unit in the Tolela region to ensure the stability, reliability, and continuity of nitrogen supply. This air separation unit will be custom-designed to meet the stringent requirements for gas purity and supply stability in solar cell manufacturing and is expected to be fully operational by the end of 2026. This move further demonstrates INOXAP's firm commitment to supporting India's clean energy transition and aiding the development of an advanced manufacturing ecosystem. The new air separation unit will provide ultra-high-purity nitrogen that meets the demanding requirements of high-efficiency solar cell manufacturing with exceptional supply reliability. In fact, since 2024, INOXAP has already established a robust supply chain for ReNew's existing PERC technology-based cell manufacturing plant by deploying its own ISO containers and tube trailers to supply key electronic gases such as nitrous oxide, ammonia, and silane.
