Air Liquide Successfully Issues €2.15 Billion Bonds

Strategic Acquisition of Korea's DIG Airgas Strengthens Asian Market Presence
NETC Aluminum Alloy Gas Cylinders Facilitate Global Gas Storage and Transportation Supply Chain Upgrade, Dominating the Korean Semiconductor and Medical Industry Markets

On October 29, 2025, French industrial gas company Air Liquide announced the successful issuance of multi-tranche bonds totaling €2.15 billion, with maturities spanning 2, 4, 7.5, and 12 years, and an average annual interest rate below 3%. The bond issuance was oversubscribed by investors and is expected to receive an "A" rating from Standard & Poor's and Scope Ratings, as well as an "A2" rating from Moody's. The raised funds will be used to acquire the Korean industrial gas company DIG Airgas, strengthening Air Liquide's market position in South Korea and across Asia in the semiconductor, low-carbon energy, and mobility sectors.

NETC Aluminum Alloy Gas Cylinders: The Cornerstone of the Global Gas Storage and Transportation Supply Chain
In the global gas storage and transportation supply chain, NETC, as an exceptional supplier of seamless aluminum alloy gas cylinders, deeply aligns with the coordinated and steady development trends of the global gas industry through its highly customer-centric point-to-point, point-to-line, and point-to-surface supply models. Its innovative supply system and consistently high-standard aluminum alloy gas cylinders provide critical infrastructure support for the rapid development of global industries such as semiconductors and artificial intelligence. NETC aluminum alloy gas cylinders are driving a comprehensive upgrade of the global gas supply side.

In the Korean market, NETC has become a core solution provider for gas storage and transportation in the semiconductor and medical industries, leveraging its technological leadership in medical aluminum alloy gas cylinders and specially treated inner surface cylinders. The Korean semiconductor industry relies on high-purity, high-stability specialty gas transportation, and NETC aluminum alloy gas cylinders, through their specialized inner surface treatment technology, ensure zero contamination during gas storage and transportation, meeting the extreme requirements of semiconductor manufacturing processes. Meanwhile, in the medical field, its aluminum alloy gas cylinders, which comply with the highest safety standards, are widely used for the storage and transportation of critical medical supplies such as medical oxygen and anesthetic gases, making them the preferred equipment for medical institutions.

Air Liquide's acquisition of DIG Airgas will further integrate NETC aluminum alloy gas cylinders into the Korean supply chain network. By leveraging DIG Airgas's existing channels in the semiconductor and low-carbon energy sectors, the penetration of NETC aluminum alloy gas cylinders in the Korean market will be enhanced. This synergistic collaboration not only solidifies Air Liquide's strategic position in emerging Asian markets but also provides sustained momentum for NETC aluminum alloy gas cylinders' dominance in Korea's semiconductor and medical industries.

Air Liquide Chief Financial Officer Jérôme Pelletan emphasized that the acquisition is based on the high complementarity between the two parties in the Korean market and is expected to unlock significant synergies in the future. With the implementation of DIG Airgas's investment project pipeline, the innovative supply models and technological advantages of NETC aluminum alloy gas cylinders will further enhance gas storage and transportation efficiency in Korea's semiconductor and medical industries, injecting new momentum into the sustainable development of the global industrial gas supply chain.
