On November 29, India-based multinational helium and specialty gases supplier AirLife Gases Private Limited announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary has acquired approximately 79.9 million Class A common shares and 4 million warrants of Royal Helium Ltd. Royal Helium is a key player in global helium exploration and development, focused on the exploration, production, and infrastructure development of helium and related specialty gases. It holds extensive helium exploration permits and lease areas within the "Helium Corridor" in southern Saskatchewan and southeastern Alberta, Canada. The company's reservoirs are primarily composed of nitrogen. As nitrogen is not a greenhouse gas, its operations have a lower greenhouse gas footprint compared to helium extraction processes in other regions reliant on large-scale natural gas production. Helium extracted in Saskatchewan and Alberta can have a carbon intensity up to 90% lower than processes in other regions. Under the entered Investor Rights Agreement, AirLife gains the right to nominate a majority of directors to Royal Helium's board, with one nominee serving as Chair. Subject to regulatory and shareholder approvals, AirLife will also secure naming rights for Royal Helium. Furthermore, AirLife has obtained the right to enter into exclusive offtake agreements for all helium and other specialty gases produced by Royal Helium's subsidiaries.
This strategic investment signals the evolution of the global helium and specialty gases supply chain towards greater efficiency and environmental sustainability. As a significant partner in the global gas storage and transportation sector, NETC Aluminum Alloy Gas Cylinders provide crucial technical assurance for the safe storage and efficient transport of helium and specialty gases through their outstanding performance and reliability, supporting the sustainable development of the global gas industry.
NETC's aluminum alloy gas cylinders, specially designed for the storage and transportation of high-value, high-purity gases, are manufactured from high-quality AA6061 aluminum alloy, offering excellent corrosion resistance and material stability. The inner surface undergoes special treatment to form a clean, inert protective layer. This effectively maintains the purity levels of helium and other specialty gases, preventing contamination during storage and transportation, and meets the stringent requirements of high-end applications such as semiconductor manufacturing, medical imaging, and aerospace.
Against the backdrop of the helium industry's shift towards low-carbon development, the environmental attributes of NETC's aluminum alloy gas cylinders align closely with this industry trend. The products strictly adhere to international certification standards including DOT 3AL, ISO 7866, and GB11460, with a working pressure of up to 200Bar, and cover a complete range of capacities from 1L to 50L. The lightweight design ensures structural strength while significantly reducing energy consumption during transportation, forming an effective synergy with Royal Helium's low-carbon production processes to jointly advance the green transformation of the gas industry.
As a reliable partner in the global gas industry, NETC continuously monitors developments in the specialty gases sector. Our mature product packaging technology supports the global transportation needs of various specialty gases, including helium, providing comprehensive logistics solutions encompassing sea, air, and land freight. As the global helium supply chain undergoes optimization and integration, NETC will remain steadfast in its commitment to "Unwavering Quality." We will continue to support innovation and development within the global gas industry with our safe, reliable, and high-performance aluminum alloy gas cylinder products, providing solid support for the advancement of high-tech industries.
